Sales Representative

Position Title:  Sales Representative       Posting Date: 7/8/03

Territory:  CT, NY, NJ

Reports to: Director of Sales

 

I. Overview:
Primary responsibility is obtaining increased sales in assigned market segments from Assigned & Potential Clientele calling primarily on an established network of independent Architects, Contractors, Kitchen & Bath Design Centers.

II. Responsibilities:

  • Select, train, motivate and assess new and existing Clientele.
  • Continually evaluate the territory coverage and maximize market penetration.
  • Create sales objectives Clientele.
  • Evaluate competitive situations and recommend appropriate tactics.
  • Conduct Sales product Knowledge training programs for individuals and groups.
  • Travel to territories to develop Product Market.
  • Coordinate and implement pricing policies within territories and within regions to maximize profit.
  • Responsibility for maintenance of major Project files, and obtaining Competitive Data information.
  • Continuing education Product Knowledge Classes for Clientele.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned. 

III. Requirements:

  • Beginning Sales careers welcome
  • Management or knowledge in Construction industry experience a plus!
  • Successful track record in sales a PLUS! 
  • In depth knowledge of contraction methods and standards a PLUS!
  • Strong, aggressive personality. 
  • Four year college degree, preferred   -OR-   5 Years in Kitchen and Bath Design.

V. Travel:
